So I haven't been updating my blog daily but life has been crazy busy!! I have been staying on track though and it hasn't felt better. Clothes are now starting to get quite loose on me!! Soon I will be in the next size down for jeans and I couldn't be happier. This is the longest that I've ever stuck with a diet and I really feel like I have to confidence to keep the momentum going :) :)

Days 22-25
I have missed a few days blogging cause I've had a very busy long weekend and was just exhausted from it. I have made a new resolve with myself however to get it done every night...even if I'm tired. So I had a busy week and it was filled with some ups and some downs. First of all I took my son Seth to a birthday party on Sunday...it did not go well. There was all kinds of food and I just couldn't help myself I gave in :( I did track everything though and while I used ALL my weekly points I did not go over. This just means that for the rest of the week I have to stay at my target and not go over at all!! The real challenge for me was the next day. My body just wanted junk. I almost gave in on several occasions but in the end I was victorious. I knew that if I just did the right thing and stayed in my points that it would get easier today...and it did. Today was easy once again to stay in my points and I'm happy that I was able to get back on track. It was an important lesson for me :)
When to a meeting on Saturday :) I hit my first goal of 5%!! I got a sticker and it really made me excited to reach my 10% goal!!
So far I've lost 16.1 lbs :) I still have a long ways to go but I'm getting there 1lb at a time!!

Day 20 and 21
hahaha so I totally forgot to blog yesterday...oops. Things went well yesterday and they continued to go well today. Tomorrow I have a meeting and a weigh in!! I'm nervous and excited to see my progress. I'm nervous though because this week I don't really feel like I've lost any weight although I have followed the program. Hopefully it will be a loss even if it's just a pound or two (which is actually typical results) it took me years to put on all this weight so I really can't expect to lose it quickly either. I estimate that it will probably take the full year to get to my goal weight.

Day 19
Today I would like to talk about snacking. I love to snack at night. It is something that is very important to me. My husband and I really like to watch TV and indulge in some goodies. This is obviously difficult if you're trying to lose weight. The good news is with WW night time snacking is still possible :) :) So I always save 10 points for the evening. If I wasn't able to do that throughout the day then I save as many as I possibly can and then I use my weekly points to make up the balance. I discovered some really great snacks that are low in points and very satisfying. First, my person fave is Cadbury Thins chocolate bars at 3 points each. If you have 2 it's only 5 points :) (Always use the most of your points). Second, popcorn is another good one. You can find brands that have the points right on them for microwave popcorn but I find it just as easy to air pop my own. For 3 cups of popcorn its 2 points and then I add 1tbsp melted olive oil margarine and add some seasoning and it's a very tasty treat. Third, (and this is my new love) is Popchips :) So tasty and if you weigh out 40g it's only 4 points. 40g is a pretty generous portion too. Of course fruit is always nice at night too and that's free. One trick that's really been helping me too is to just go to bed once my points are done lol. My husband always knows as soon as I've eaten all my points cause I just get up and announce that it's bed time. That way I don't even have the temptation to over do my points. It's working so I always say whatever works!! It's a hard battle and every little trick helps :)
Today was another success and it's definitely getting easier every day :)

Day 18
Today I would like to discuss making yourself feel good. Ever since I started this journey I have made some key changes to the way that I look. Every single day I get up, have a shower, blow dry and straighten my hair and then put on make up. It is helping me immensely. I really feel like I've spent a long time not caring about my appearance and that is how I got to the place I'm in now. The future will be different though and I'm determined to make it happen so every day I have to get up and put my best foot forward!! It's truly making a difference too. I feel more confident and it really helps me to get through my day. I had almost forgotten how the world treats you when you look good on the outside. It's so unfortunate that we live in such a shallow society but it's the way it is. I for one want to be noticed in the world and taken seriously. So everyday I play the part of the future I want.
Today was another successful day and it feels good to write that today. I had a few weak moments but I stayed strong and did the right thing :) Happy that I felt like I had the strength today :) :)

Day 17
So another day down!! I found myself doing a bit of snacking but I just snacked on fruit so it's all good :) Today was one of those day where I felt thinner!! It was a really nice feeling :) I'm so determined to take this all the way and that is a very happy feeling :)

Day 16
So I'm definitely not as young as I used to be hahaha. I'm now in the zone of the 2 day hangover :( So today was a little more difficult to get through. I did it though and it's one of those situations that made me realize how much power I actually do have. I've kinda felt out of control with eating my whole life. I have had periods in my life where I've been thin but only for short periods and not because I was in control. With the WW plan I actually feel like I have control over food for the first time. It's exciting!! Today I did want to snack a little extra so I used some of my weekly points to tide me over. The key is to just count EVERYTHING!! I feel like I'm really getting into the zone of this. I want to be a lifetime member...I will be a lifetime member!! Also, I read somewhere that it takes 3 weeks to make or break a habit. Yesterday was the beginning of week 3 for me :) :)
